Welcome to the Paulding Middle School Counseling Department!
About Us
Our Counseling Team is made up of one full time School Counselor, one District Mental Health Clinician, one Student Support Advocate, one Prevention & Early Intervention Support Counselor (SLOBH), one LINK Family Advocate, and one Friday Night Live Coordinator. Collectively, our counseling support staff work closely with students and families to provide academic and social/emotional support.
Vision Statement
Our vision is to implement a proactive counseling program aligned with the ASCA National Model that provides prevention and intervention activities to address student academic achievement, social/emotional development and college/career readiness.
Mission Statement
The mission of Paulding Middle School’s Counseling Department is to enhance student personal growth, social/emotional skills, and college/career knowledge. We aim to remove barriers to learning by advocating for an equitable and inclusive learning environment. We utilize data to identify student needs and deliver indirect and direct services. In addition, we collaborate with school staff, families, and community agencies to ensure student safety and success.
